The difference between tea and infusion
What's the difference?
Theine or caffeine (the same molecule) is present in all forms of the tea plant (Camelia chinensis and Camelia assamensis): black, green, white, yellow, oolong, and pu-erh.
All other preparations made with rooibos, honeybush, fruit peels, plants, or spices are called infusions, meaning they are caffeine-free beverages.
We also offer decaffeinated tea.
