Hibiscus flower from organic farming: Hibiscus sabdariffa
Carcade, Karkade or Hibiscus flower is also known as Flor de Jamaica in Central and South America. In Africa, it is known as Bissap! Its tangy pink-red infusion brightens up cups when hot and glasses when cold. A very fine quality, it comes in the form of large dried petals.
2 tsp / 2 dl | 100ºC | 4-5 min.
2 tablespoon to a litre of cold water, leave to infuse for 4-5 hours.
