Guayusa

Guayusa is the caffeinated national drink of the Kichwa of Ecuador. They have been using the leaves of this rainforest tree, which can grow up to 30 meters tall, for hundreds of years. A cup of this multifaceted leaf is brewed not only in the morning after waking up, but also during the day. The infusion, with its delicately bitter to slightly spicy notes and a gentle sweetness, can be enjoyed hot or cold.
