Japanese green tea from organic farming.
Gyokuro is literally 'Pearl of Dew' in Japanese! The name evokes its herbaceous flavour, its sweetness and its freshness, due to the fact that the tea bushes are placed under mats in the shade for some time before harvesting. This is known as shade tea, and gives the finished product a vegetal intensity.
1 tsp / 2 dl | 60°C | 3-4 min.
1 tablespoon to a litre of cold water, leave to infuse for 2 hours.
